The Great Cycle

The Mayan Long Count calendar - based upon a recurring time period of precisely 1872000 days, approximately equal to 5125.36 years - ends today (not 12/21/2012). This marks an alignment between our Earth and Sun in relation to the Milky Way galaxy. This only occurs once every 26,000 years. So what does this mean? Who knows, but whatever it means, make it count....and give thanks to the Mayans:)
