Xie Jin

Xie Jin, 1923-2008

I had the great honor of knowing Chinese film director Xie Jin after being introduced to him in 2002 during a trip to Shanghai. I'd spent a day with him at his film company headquarters, enjoyed a great lunch, toured the city, and went on location to a film shoot. I more recently visited his company headquarters last Fall season while in Shanghai. He was and always will be a tremendous inspiration to me.
