Health Expo Gig

Performed at a health expo over the weekend. The stage was outdoors and during the first song of my set I noticed a spider crawling along the length on my guitar neck! Fortunately it fell off and I didn't have to worry about pausing in the middle of my song to swipe it off. Close call. I actually have a small fear of spiders. Hope I never have this experience again.

Odyssey & Newman

Hosted the Guitar Odyssey concert at Oxford Hall over the weekend. I performed along with Even Hands and Gary Seber. The show seemed to go over very well with the audience. Upon returning home I rec'd this email from a concert goer, "I just got back from the Oxford Hall concert. I was blown away." - James Bloom

Also checked out Randy Newman with the Houston Symphony last night. Film screens were showing clips of movies he scored while he conducted the symphony. After intermission he sat at a piano and had the symphony back him as he sang some of his hits. Went backstage after the show. Stood next to him as he answered questions from a few fans.
